On behalf of the parade committee, we want to thank all participants in our 70th annual parade. This year our parade was filled with lots of energy and excitement for all. We did have a couple of new additions and we hope to have even more next year.

With the help of Lauren Poussard of Creative Designs we have a very vibrant web site; beverlyholidayparade.org and a great facebook page. All are asked to let us know, via our site, what you thought of this years program and your thoughts to make it even better in the years to come.

With the help of John Kenney we are fully automated with a registration form on our site that includes up to date contact information. With the help of Kevin Haritunian, we asked Mayor Cahill to present a proclamation to our 2017 Grand Marshall, Charlie Bucci which was very well received. Police Chief LeLacheur along with Sargent Tony DiRuzza, our City’s traffic officer were instrumental in making sure everyone was safe. Transportation Director, Bill Burke made sure the busses were ready to go from the Depot back to the High School. Next year will feature a new banner on Cabot St, thanks to Phil Broderick of Minuteman Press. Steve Crowley made very sure all participants were lined up and ready to go from the High School so as to keep all in good order. Our committee included others who also gave of their time to make this such a success and we thank you for your help. Special thanks also to Bevcam for live streaming and for keeping it on the site for all to see anytime. Andi Freedman has been cohosting this parade for the past several years and, I know you will agree, she does a tremendous job. Don Kelley of Wayside Trailers deserves kudos as he donates the flatbed used to broadcast with Bevcam in front of City Hall.

We also want to thank our Superintendent of Schools for securing our High School as a staging ground.

An extremely big thank you to our sponsors. Without this group this parade would not happen and their support is much appreciated, they include; Beverly Bank, Institution for Savings, Salem Bank, Temkin Financial Group, LLC, WBOQ 104.9, Michaud Mitsubishi and The Beverly Rotary Club.

Our committee will begin discussing our 2018 parade in June of 2018. If you would like to be involved please complete the volunteer form on the website. For others who may not have the time to be involved, if you have suggestions as to how we can make this better and more fun, please be sure to let us know.

Our parade is a beautiful community event and we must strive to make it even better in the years to come.
